A chatbot with a nice wrapper can explain the steps, draft the text, or produce code, but it still waits for a human to copy, paste, and click. That gap is the difference between advice and action. One concrete check: look for a real execution log, permission prompt, or audit trail showing the tool took an action on its own. If the demo only shows polished text output, it’s probably suggestion-only.
