AutoGen maintenance mode: check your migration

The pattern: 3 of the 6 website changes in this issue involve MCP (NeverApply, Candor and AI for Database).

What changed: AutoGen has entered maintenance mode, with no new features or enhancements planned. Microsoft directs new users to Agent…, and future work will be community-managed.

Why it matters: Teams using AutoGen now have an explicit roadmap boundary: new work will not receive Microsoft feature enhancements. That changes the risk profile for both new agent builds and dependencies that need ongoing platform evolution.

Do this: Inventory every AutoGen dependency today, then check whether the migration path Microsoft points to covers the orchestration, tooling, and deployment patterns your AutoGen workloads rely on.
